With society’s prevailing hunger to support small businesses and find out where our food is sourced comes the rise of the local bakery. Creating a community is a vital ingredient within Born&Bread’s ethos, however handcrafting delicious breads made from locally-sourced ingredients is at the core of their culture.
I designed patterns to reflect a retro style, creating a sense of nostalgia that conveys the notion of old recipes being passed down through generations. A colour palette made up of warm hues and a friendly typeface are used to evoke a sense of community and inclusivity.
